Sunshine Scrapbooking Layout

It's August which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month's kit is perfect for scrapping all your fun in the sun this summer. Here's a sunshine scrapbooking layout with the kit.

The August kit features papers and a sticker sheet from Echo Park Beach Day. The colors in this collection are bright and vibrant, and the patterns are full of fun summer themed icons like paddle boards, flip flops, and swimsuits to name a few.

I used the kit to scrap some photos from an afternoon we spent at a pond paddle boarding, kayaking, paddle boating, and swimming. The bright colors in the collection are the perfect backdrop for the vibrant sunny day photos.

Painting Scrapbooking Layout

It's July which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month is all about home and the family you find there.

This month's kit features papers and stickers from Echo Park Welcome Home. There are some really lovely floral prints as well as wood grain papers, and coordinating journaling cards.

There is also an additional embellishment upgrade for the July kit. The die cuts used on this layout are from one of the embellishment packs included in the upgrade kit.

This layout is just a few photos from the last time we painted our living room, kitchen, dining room, and hallways. I really dislike painting, but we had lots of great help!

Panorama Punkt Scrapbooking Layout

Last month I finally finished up my album from our trip to Germany (3 years ago!). It feels great to have it finished. Today I'm sharing one of the last pages from the album, this Panorama Punkt scrapbooking layout.

The Patterned paper for this layout comes from the February Kit from Scrapbooking Store which features the Just Be You Collection from Echo Park. Other embellishments come from a wide variety of previous kits from the Scrapbooking Store as well. Lots of stash diving to finish this one off.

I also featured the ticket from our trip to the top and some pieces from the Panorama Punkt brochure.

I have just a few more Germany layouts to share over the next few weeks. Thanks for going on this journey with me!

Hello Spring Scrapbooking Layout

It's April which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month's kit is full of bright spring colors, themes, and words.

This month's kit features papers and stickers from Echo Park's Welcome Spring collection. The upgraded embellishment kit has some really fun Thicker alphabet stickers and floral rub-ons.

Our Frenchie, Stanley, is usually pretty relaxed about everything, but for some reason he does not like RZR rides. Our basset hound loves them, though, and the only thing worse for Stan than a RZR ride is being left home when Kevin gets to go...so poor Stanley goes anyways.

Smile Scrapbooking Layout

I have a second layout to share today from Scrapbooking Store's March Kit. We are enjoying the sun in this Smile Scrapbooking Layout.

Lately I do a lot of multi photo layouts, so it was fun to put this photo as the only one. It's one of my favorite photos from our trip, so it definitely deserved its own layout.

Everything on this layout came from the main March kit from Scrapbooking Store except for the "Best Day" glitter alphas. Those alphas are part of the March Embellishment Upgrade.

Today Scrapbooking Layout

It's March which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month's kit is full of pretty spring colors that are really versatile. Here is my Today Scrapbooking Layout.

Not all Disney photos have to be overly Disney themed. This collection was perfect for scrapping a few photos from our wait at the Avengers ride.

March's kit features the Just Be You Collection from Echo Park. It's a really fun collection for just documenting the big and little things in life.

I'll be back next week with another layout using March's kit, but in the meat time you can always find more inspiration using March's kit from me and lots of other talented designers on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Octoberfest Scrapbooking Layout

I have one last layout using the October kit from Scrapbooking Store. You can find the first layout I created by clicking here and the second layout here. Here is my Octoberfest Scrapbooking Layout.

We have a fun group of neighbors that gets together every year for a barbecue competition. Last year it just happened to be on October 31, so we had a fun Halloween/Octoberfest theme.

When I got the October kit from Scrapbooking Store, I immediately thought of these pictures. The colors and the theme went perfectly. I did add a few Germany themed stickers not from the kit (they are from Paper House).

Family Traditions Scrapbooking Layout

Today I have another layout using the October kit from Scrapbooking Store. You can find the first layout I created by clicking here. Here is my Family Traditions Scrapbooking Layout.

You can find everything I used on my layout as part of the October base kit and the upgraded embellishment kit. I especially love the "our family traditions" sticker (that is included in the base kit). I thought the owl paper was kind of fun, since this was a nighttime photo.

There's a great corn maze just minutes from our house (it changes to a different design every year). The year we took this photo was the first time we decided to do it after dark. We had fun, but decided we kind of like doing it during the day when we can actually see the maze.

October Scrapbooking Kit

It's October which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. So far I've created 5 layouts with this month's kit. I'll share 3 of them here, and the other 2 you'll be able to find on the Scrapbooking Store's website later this month. My first layout with the October scrapbooking kit is this Movember scrapbooking layout.

This month's base kit features Echo Park Fall is in the Air paper and card stock stickers. This collection is full of rich fall colors and woodsy autumn patterns. You'll find lots of pumpkins, leaves, acorns, and woodland creatures in this collection.

For this layout, I used both the base kit and embellishments from the upgraded embellishment kit. I especially love the burlap looking tags included in embellishment upgrade. They work great for journaling and as design elements. The only thing you won't find in the kit or embellishment upgrade are the alphas that I used for my title (those are from a prior Scrapbooking Store kit).

My husband often enjoys Movember or No Shave November. This was a fun "who wore it better" picture he took with our black lab, Steve. Steve has since passed away, but photos like this make my heart so happy.

Mt. Rushmore Scrapbooking Layout

I have a second layout using the June Kit from Scrapbooking Store. It's another Mt. Rushmore Scrapbooking Layout.

There are a lot of ways to view Mt. Rushmore from a bunch of different angles. I put a few of my favorite views from our walk around the park all in one layout.

I used embellishments from both the main kit (there is always a sticker sheet included in the kit) and the Embellishment Upgrade Kit. The embellishment upgrade this month is a fun mix of ephemera and shaped stickers.

I really love the prints in this collection. I love the classic red, white, and blue with a bit of aqua mixed in. They all really pop against the white backgrounds.

If you want more inspiration with this kit, check out my blog post from last week, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Rushmore Selfie Scrapbook Layout

It's June, which means a brand new kit from Scrapbooking Store. Today I have  Rushmore Selfie Scrapbook Layout to share featuring this month's kit.

This month's kit has everything you need to prepare for the 4th of July. It features papers and stickers from Echo Park America. As you can probably tell it includes lots of red, white, and blue and patriotic symbols.

While it's great for Independence Day scrapping, I decided that this kit would also be fantastic for scrapping photos that we took at Mt. Rushmore a few summers ago. The Upgraded Embellishment Kit includes some patriotic ephemera from Pebbles Inc that really adds to the versatility of the main kit.

For something a little different, I decided to use the gold US ephemera as a journaling tag. Because the tag has a shiny finish, you need to use a marker for slick surfaces. My favorite markers for that task are American Crafts Slick Writers. They come in fine, medium, and wide tips and in a variety of colors.

I'll be back next week with another layout from this kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Spring Butterfly Cards

As promised, I have another set of cards using the March kit from Scrapbooking Store. Here are my Spring Butterfly Cards.

For this set of cards, I wanted to focus on the embellishments included in the March kit upgrade. I actually picked out the embellishments I wanted to use first (the shaker cupcake and the layered orange flower) and then picked papers from the kit that complimented the embellishments.

I feel like the cupcake makes a perfect birthday card, so I added a sticker that said "Celebrate Today!" I finished up the card with a butterfly sticker and a layered flower sticker with the label "happy" on it.

For my "hello" card, I chose the orange plaid paper to compliment the orange flower I picked out for the focal point. I didn't have a good greeting in the kit that I wanted to use, so I used a hello embellishment from last month's (February) kit.

Beautiful Day Cards

The start of March means warmer weather and a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month I used the kit to create both layouts and cards. Up first to share with you I have a pair of Beautiful Day Cards.

March's kit features patterned papers and a sticker sheet from Echo Park I Love Spring. As its name might hint at, it's a bright and cheery spring kit full of spring-y blues, shades of pink, and pops of yellow. Lots of flowers, umbrellas, butterflies, and rain boots take center stage in this collection.

What really makes March's kit for me, though are the optional embellishment upgrades. There are these cool shaker embellishments (the flowers above and the cake below) that add so much texture and dimension to these cards. They absolutely transform this kit for me.

Using the same sentiment (one in sticker form ad one in journaling tag form), I created one card that's perfect for a wedding and one card that could be used for a wedding, bridal shower, or birthday.

I'll be back next week with another pair of cards from this kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Good Times Scrapbooking Layout

Today I have another layout with Scrapbooking Store February kit. This Good Times scrapbooking layout is layout 2 of 4.

Whenever we visit my parents in the summer, we like to go to Charlie's Drive-In for root beer floats and cheese curds. This year we finally thought to take a photo in front of it.

I thought the red and black prints in this collection would work with the colors in my photos and with the drive-in theme. There's even an ice cream sticker on the sticker sheet in the collection. The black "Good Times" sticker is an extra one I had from the December kit, it just happened to work really well with this layout.

Winter Layout

It's January which means a brand new kit from Scrapbooking Store. It's all about the winter vibes, so today I have a winter layout to share using the kit.

January's kit features A Perfect Winter from Echo Park. Besides having a lot of great winter prints (like that big bold snowflake paper), it's also a beautiful mix of shades of blue with a pop of read. It was super easy to mix and match papers making it lots of fun to use.

The embellishment upgrade includes some shimmer banners from Bo Bunny. Usually I don't like using much glitter because of the mess, but I was surprised and delighted to find that these banners don't shed their shimmer everywhere. They add a really fun pop of whimsy to a snowy layout.

The alphabet stickers I used for the title are also part of the upgrade and have a great woodgrain texture printed on them.

If you have any snowy outdoor or cozy indoor winter photos to scrap, this kit will be perfect for you!
