Let's Party Scrapbooking Layout

Today I have one more layout from the September kit from Scrapbooking Store. It's another birthday party layout. Here's my Let's Party scrapbooking layout.

I really love the celebratory feel of this collection. And, while there's a decent amount of pink in this collection, it actually feels really gender neutral.

There's also a really great sticker sheet included with the main kit. Lots of fun words, small and big, and cute party icons.

Celebrate 15 Scrapbooking Layout

It's September, which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month's kit is all about birthday celebrations. Today I have a Celebrate 15 scrapbooking layout to share.

This month's kit features Simple Stories Celebrate. I really love the muted colors in this collection. There are a lot of classic birthday icons and prints, but also lots of polka dots and stripes that can be used for non birthday layouts.

I found the sticker sheet to be especially versatile. There are a lot of words like smile, yay, celebrate, and it's your day. That can be used for a lot of things.

I'll be back next week with another layout featuring September's kit. In the mean time, you can always find more inspiration using me and lots of other talented designers on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Lego Store Scrapbooking Layout

Today I have layout #2 with the June kit from Scrapbooking Store. As promised, this Lego Store scrapbooking layout uses the June kit for a non-patriotic themed spread.

In April we went on a family vacation to London. I'm just starting to scrap photos from the trip. I found that the pops of red and yellow in the June collection are perfect for these photos from the Lego store...especially the one of the very British telephone box!

To keep the layout from looking like a patriotic layout (with the red, white, blue theme of the kit), I focused on using embellishments that were neutral (like stars), and I added alphas from the embellishment upgrade kit.

Land That I Love Scrapbooking Layout

It's June which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month we're leaning into the patriotic red, white and blue...but I'll be sharing a few layouts to show you that you can also use this kit for things besides the 4th of July.

Our 4th of July was a little different last year. Instead of setting off a bunch of fireworks, we had a fairly quiet weekend camping at our place in the Black Hills. I thought the "Land that I love" tag was perfect to build my layout around.

The June kit features Simple Stories Stars, Stripes, and Sparklers. While it has your classic red, white, and blue, it also has pops of yellow that I featured in other layouts. There are a lot of classic icons (like sparklers and flags), but you'll also find flowers and backyard bbq themes throughout.

I'll be back next week with another layout from this kit, and you can always find more inspiration using June's kit from me and lots of other talented designers on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Fun in the Sun Scrapbooking Layout

It's May which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. This month we're heading to the beach starting with this Fun in the Sun scrapbooking layout.

This month's kit features Simple Vintage Coastal from Simple Stories. This is a soft, muted beach collection that has muted pinks, blues, browns, and greens found throughout. Since it's a coastal themed collection, you'll find lots of sea shells, ships, palm trees, tropical flowers, and map prints. It's grounded with wood grains and sprinkled with flowers. It really is just plain pretty.

The woodgrain paper was the perfect background for my bright blue photos. It also seemed to match the wood of the pier in my photo. For some more color, I framed the layout with a pop of pink map paper.

I clustered a bunch of the stickers from the collection sticker sheet all over the layout to add little spots to draw your eye. I finished up with some journaling and a few more stickers.

You and Me Scrapbooking Layout

I have a second layout to share today from Scrapbooking Store's February Kit. Since this month's kit is all about the love, today's layout has you and me photos.

There's quite the mix of colors in this collection. This layout focuses more on the shades of red and black, but there's also aqua blue, shades of pink, and even fun pops of salmon.

I always like when the Scrapbooking Store kit includes a sticker sheet from Simple Stories, as they always have the best word and phrase stickers. I used them as a title and as decoration on this layout.

Selfie Scrapbooking Layout

It's February which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. Since it's February, this month's kit is all about the love. I've found it's a great kit for scrapping selfies, so my first layout I'm sharing today is this Selfie Scrapbooking Layout.

February's kit features Sweet Talk from Simple Stories. It's full of the traditional reds and pinks, but also has fun pops of aqua blue and black.

This summer we found a Taylor Avenue when we were out exploring a city, so we thought we should grab a photo with it.

I'll be back next week with another layout using February's kit, but in the meat time you can always find more inspiration using February's kit from me and lots of other talented designers on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Family Traditions Scrapbooking Layout

Today I have another layout using the October kit from Scrapbooking Store. You can find the first layout I created by clicking here. Here is my Family Traditions Scrapbooking Layout.

You can find everything I used on my layout as part of the October base kit and the upgraded embellishment kit. I especially love the "our family traditions" sticker (that is included in the base kit). I thought the owl paper was kind of fun, since this was a nighttime photo.

There's a great corn maze just minutes from our house (it changes to a different design every year). The year we took this photo was the first time we decided to do it after dark. We had fun, but decided we kind of like doing it during the day when we can actually see the maze.

Wild and Free Scrapbooking Layout

I'm back with one last layout using the July Kit from Scrapbooking Store. This Wild and Free Scrapbooking Layout showcases how you can use this kit for camping layout.

I love watching the sky change when the sun starts to go down in Deadwood. Pictures never quite do it justice, but I thought I'd give it a try with this layout. I loved how the pinks in the kit really helped bring out the sky in the photos.

I also thought mixing and matching all the floral patterns was a nice nod to the nature theme of the photos. I used both the included sticker sheet and the upgraded embellishments for this layout.

That's my last of the 6 layouts I made with the July kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Leaving Munich Scrapbooking Layout

As promised, I'm back with another layout using the July Kit from Scrapbooking Store. It's another Mt. Rushmore Scrapbooking Layout. Here's my Leaving Munich Scrapbooking Layout.

This is actually the last of 6 layouts I created with the July Kit. I used up just about every scrap of paper. In fact, I didn't even have a 12 x 12 piece of paper left for this one, it's made up of all leftover cuts from the other 5 layouts. Those strips of pink, blue, and red paper? They're actually hiding a hole where the gold arrow paper and plaid paper don't quite meet up.

I found this kit (and the Safe Travels collection from Simple Stories that is featured in the kit) super easy to work with. The colors and patterns seem to combine effortlessly.

I mentioned that this kit is great for all kinds of travel scrapping. Last week I showed how I used it for a road trip, and this week's focuses on international travel. It's really been fun to see how much this kit can do!

I'll be back next week with another layout from this kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Road Trip Scrapbooking Layout

A new month means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. I've had so much fun with this kit..in fact, I've used up every last scrap making 6 layouts with it. Today I have the first of 3 I'll be sharing here on my blog; Road Trip Scrapbooking Layout.

July's kit features papers and a sticker sheet from Simple Stories Safe Travels collection. I love a good travel themed collection, and this one is fantastic. It's really versatile and great for everything from small road trips to big international travel.

If you don't have much for travel photos, this kit is still fantastic. All of the papers have at least one side that isn't travel themed. It's a really fun mix of colors and patterns that are rich and really make your photos stand out.

I used July's kit to tell the story of us taking our camper out to our place in the Black Hills this summer. We took 2 separate vehicles on consecutive days to get out there and it felt like a bit of an adventure. The camper sticker and overstuffed car stickers seemed like the perfect embellishments for this layout.

I'll be back next week with another layout from this kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Good Vibes Scrapbooking Layout

It's February, which means a new kit from Scrapbooking Store. So far, I've created 4 layouts with this kit. Today I'm sharing my Good Vibes scrapbooking layout.

This month's kit features papers and stickers from Kate and Ash by Simple Stories. While the themes found in this kit are geared towards girl (especially tween and teen) scrapbook pages, with a little bit of creativity this kit can be very versatile.

You'll find lots of hearts and positive affirmations in this kit. With those themes, I thought it might be time to scrap the photos from my son's endoscopy a few years ago. It wasn't a great time for him, but the procedure went well and gave us some answers. I think the different heart papers and embellishments from the kit convey the feelings pretty well.

I really love the saturated colors in this kit and the pops of black throughout. I'll be back next week with another layout from this kit, and you can always find more on Scrapbooking Store's Facebook page

Memories Layout

It's December, which means a brand new kit from the Scrapbooking Store. Since it's December, you've probably guessed that this month is a Christmas themed kit. Here's a Disney Memories layout I created with the kit.

As you might be able to tell, this month's kit is doubly themed. It's both Christmas and Disney as it features Simple Stories Say Cheese Christmas. While this layout does happen to use it to scrap photos from Walt Disney World, these papers aren't just Disney themed. At least one side of every sheet of paper is just a bright, fun holiday print. So even if you don't want to use this kit to scrap Disney photos, it's still great for Christmas photos.

Way back in 2016 a friend and I spent a day at the Magic Kingdom close to Christmas. I've slowly been scrapping the photos over the years, but really haven't done that many as I didn't feel like I had the right paper. December's kit from the Scrapbooking Store definitely fixed that problem for me.

These photos are of the very cool gingerbread houses at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian resorts. I highly recommend seeing them if you ever get the chance.

Coffee Layout

Today I have a layout that's a glimpse into my daily life with this Coffee and Christ layout.

To say I'm a coffee drinker is a bit of an understatement. This summer, I really started to take advantage of the quiet mornings for my first cup of the day and some Bible study. We're members of a brand new church plant (which has fed my soul in so many ways), so I especially love to have my morning cup in my Sure Foundation church logo mug.

It's not too often I scrap a photo of just me doing my everyday things, but the Scrapbooking Store September kit, which features Simple Stories I Am, is perfect for telling personal stories. It's a gorgeous collection that celebrates people, relationships, and personal journies.

I hope you remember to celebrate the everyday things that make you who you are, too!

Sister-In-Law Layout

The May kit from the Scapbooking Store celebrates families. I have the best sisters-in-lay, so I thought it would be fun to use the May kit to celebrate that relationship with this silly sister-in-law layout.

The kit features papers and a sticker sheet from Simple Stories So Happy Together. The colors and prints in this collection are very much my style, and I love that the kit celebrates all kinds of family (including friends who become family).

There is also an optional upgrade which includes many of the word stickers and the blue gems you see on the layout.

I snapped this silly photo when we were out to eat with our husbands a few months ago. We laugh a lot when we're together, but we also support each other. I am so blessed to have these ladies in my life!

Large Photo Layout

Once in a while there's just no way to get a story told without scrapping a large photo. That's what I have for today, a large photo layout.

This one's a little bit different than some of the other large photo layouts I've shared. Instead of one large photo, I printed a bunch of photos as one large photo collage. I had a lot of photos from our afternoon at Neuschwanstein castle. I'd told much of the story in previous layouts, so why not let some of the gorgeous pictures take center stage.

It snowed this day in the Bavarian Alps, so I wanted to use paper that reflected a bit of that (again, I had told the snow story on a previous layout, so I'm just going for an overall feel). I grabbed what was leftover from the Scrapbooking Store's January Kit which featured Simple Stories Winter Farmhouse collection. It's exactly what its name sounds like; a little bit of winter and a lot of cozy, woodsy vibes.

Because the photo is so large, I focused on framing it with a bit of pretty patterned paper. Then I added a few embellishments around the edges of the photo and even right on top of the photo. Keeping the embellishments simple keeps the layout from feeling too busy.

Do you like scrapping large photos?
