Winter Banner

I like hanging banners in my house to decorate for different seasons and holidays. I was in need of a new winter banner, so here's what I came up with.

Paper House has a collection called Stargazer. It's not a winter themed collection, but it is full of gorgeous blues and purples, which were perfect for a winter banner. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the letters and snowflakes.

I finished up by adding some snowflakes from Paper House's Baby It's Cold Outside puffy stickers and strung the entire thing on some purple baker's twine.

Mini Baby Cards

I've been making a lot of mini cards lately. They're fun to make, slip easily into a gift bag, and are just plain cute. Today I have some mini baby cards to share.

I had a triple baby shower this past weekend, so I thought what better than to make a trio of mini baby cards to tuck into gifts.

These sweet little cards measure 3" x 3".

Only one of the mothers to be knows the gender of her baby, so I needed some gender neutral cards.

I went with a mix of papers, card stock stickers, and puffy stickers from Paper House's Hello Baby collection.

There is a Hello Baby Girl and a Hello Baby Boy collection, but they mix and match nicely for gender specific or gender neutral themes. It's also a great collection for scrapping baby's first year.

Winter Layout

It's January which means a brand new kit from Scrapbooking Store. It's all about the winter vibes, so today I have a winter layout to share using the kit.

January's kit features A Perfect Winter from Echo Park. Besides having a lot of great winter prints (like that big bold snowflake paper), it's also a beautiful mix of shades of blue with a pop of read. It was super easy to mix and match papers making it lots of fun to use.

The embellishment upgrade includes some shimmer banners from Bo Bunny. Usually I don't like using much glitter because of the mess, but I was surprised and delighted to find that these banners don't shed their shimmer everywhere. They add a really fun pop of whimsy to a snowy layout.

The alphabet stickers I used for the title are also part of the upgrade and have a great woodgrain texture printed on them.

If you have any snowy outdoor or cozy indoor winter photos to scrap, this kit will be perfect for you!
