Just a quick layout today. I have an older family photo (taken 4 years or so ago) that's been in a frame. Recently I put something else in that frame so it was time to scrap the photo.
This is a pretty simple and straightforward layout. I used Little Yellow Bicycle's Jut Because (mixing 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 papers). I LOVE the colors in Just Because, and they seemed to work just beautifully with the colors in my photo.

Fern & Forest
I have a layout today using Little Yellow Bicycle's Fern and Forest Boy collection.
I'm not the best at machine stitching, so it always gives me a mini panic attack to machine sew on my layouts, but sometimes there's just no substitute for it. I'm happy with how it turned out on this layout, and it adds so much! Speaking of adding so much, it's no secret that I'm a big fan of Little Yellow Bicycle, in no small part because of all the amazing embellishments they make for their collections. I had no problem finding the right embellishments, my biggest problem was not using too many of them!
The only embellishments not from LYB's Fern and Forest or Naturals collections are the enamel dots I used on the layout. Those are from My Mind's Eye.
If you're a big fan of LYB too, check out the current contests they have going on that run through the month of May. You can find them by clicking here. LYB always has really fun challenges, and their prize packages are really good (I should know, all the LYB products I used in this post came from a Naturals challenge I won!).

Interactive Scrapbook Page
I've had a lot of fun playing around with Stikr.it Story Stickers lately. This cool little sticker is a way to add video to your cards and layouts.
All you have to do is upload your video to to the Stkr.it website, type in the code on your sticker, and attach your sticker to your card or layout. From there on out, you can use the QR code scanner on your Smartphone to play the video directly on your phone. If you don't have a Smartphone, you can type the code right into Stkr.it's website and it will play for you.
Can you imagine sending a card to grandma with a Stkr.it containing a video message inside? I can't wait to do it. For now, I've only created a few layouts. Here's one of them.
Here's a close up of the Stkr.it (and they come in different colors so you can match them to your layout).
Want to see for yourself how Stkr.it
works? Since you can't scan the QR code through my computer screen, you can go to Stkr.it right now by clicking here.
When you get there just type in the code for the sticker on this label
(YGSLCNWMHL) and you can see the video attached to this layout for
yourself.

Blog Hop with Buttons Galore
and
I'm super excited to be a part of the Buttons Galore/ Glue Dots® blog hop today. I thought I'd make a little gift tube for graduation. I put candy in my tube, but you could put candy, money, or even a gift certificate inside.
I created a tag, and also hung buttons from Buttons Galore & More's School Days Graduation button pack from twine for some added fun.
I stripped a kraft colored tag with washi tape, and used Craft and Mini Glue Dots® to attach the "Congratulations" and grad cap button to the tag.
To keep that twine holding the extra buttons in place, I strung them through a button from Buttons Galore's Craft & Scrapbook Embellishments (Seaside) and attached the button to the top of the tube with a Craft Glue Dot®
Oh, and just a little side note, many of the Buttons Galore buttons (like the one I used on the top of my tube), come in these useful little containers. I added a paper flower to the top of mine, and now it's useful and pretty darn cute!

A big thanks to Buttons Galore for providing the fun buttons to work with for my project (you can find them on Facebook by clicking here).
I wrote this while participating on the Glue Dots® Design Team (you can find them on Facebook by clicking here).

1st Birthday Card
My cousin's little girl is turning 1 soon. There's just something extra special about a first birthday, so we picked up a little gift for Miss V, and I needed a nice girly card to go with it.
I started with paper from Bella Blvd's Kiss Me collection. I mean, you can never go wrong using Bella Blvd for girlie projects. I used an SRM happy birthday sticker for my sentiment.
Since we're mailing Miss V her Birthday present, I thought a "sending lots of love" theme might be cute for her card. I used a mini envelope from Studio Calico for my hearts. Most of the hearts are attached directly to the card, but I did pop a few up with Pop Up Glue Dots® just for fun.
Finally, because I used a dark card stock for the base, I added some light colored patterned paper inside to make writing a note easier...and of course I couldn't resist adding a sticker border along the bottom.
