Great Times Layout

I did some stash diving for this Great Times layout.

I'm not going to lie, I have a lot of paper...like a lot. I've been trying really hard to use what I have in my stash and from my design team kits only.

When looking for paper to scrap these photos from our Germany trip, I found an old collection from Paper House called Capture Life. I had a few pieces from that collection and the whole sticker sheet.

I also found that piece of cloud paper from Bella Blvd. I thought it went well with the other papers and it looked great with my mountain top photos. I created my own journaling tag from another piece of ombre blue patterned paper that seemed to fit with the other papers as well.

How often do you do a deep dive into your paper stash for scrapping?

Rap Sign

Sometimes something you crate just makes you happy. This simple rap sign is like that for me.

This sign was super simple to create with some vinyl. I cut some fonts I had on my computer with my Silhouette Cameo and then added them to a Jillibean Soup Mix the Media frame.

The saying itself is a little bit serious and a little bit silly, so it fit my personality well. Like I said at the beginning, the sign just makes me happy. I smile when I see it.

I hope you have a good day as well!

Sister-In-Law Layout

The May kit from the Scapbooking Store celebrates families. I have the best sisters-in-lay, so I thought it would be fun to use the May kit to celebrate that relationship with this silly sister-in-law layout.

The kit features papers and a sticker sheet from Simple Stories So Happy Together. The colors and prints in this collection are very much my style, and I love that the kit celebrates all kinds of family (including friends who become family).

There is also an optional upgrade which includes many of the word stickers and the blue gems you see on the layout.

I snapped this silly photo when we were out to eat with our husbands a few months ago. We laugh a lot when we're together, but we also support each other. I am so blessed to have these ladies in my life!

I wrote this post while participating on the Scrapbooking Store Design Team.

Dog Sign

I have something a little fun. It's been a while since I've made a home decor project for my blog. I've had the supplies for this project for months, but I finally got around to making this dog sign this past week.

We are definitely dog people. We especially love our basset, Kevin.

He's pretty goofy, and he just turned 1. The house definitely needed a sign to commemorate him.

The sign base is from Jillibean Soup Mix the Media. I used my Silhouette to cut the blue paw shaped words. The cut file also happens to be from Jillibean Soup. There was a lot of weeding, but the final result was totally worth it.

The wood basset hound was something I found on Etsy. I stained it with some Tim Holtz Distress Ink and attached it to the sign with some Pop Up Glue Dots®. This sign is now hanging on the wall in my living room, and I love it!
