Leaf Pile Layout

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of Taylor Stamped. I do receive financial compensation and material product from American Crafts and A Walk Down Memory Lane to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own. The weather seems to be turning. The days are still warm, but the nights are cool, and it just seems to put me in the mood for fall scrapping. Today I have another layout using Photo Play Paper Autumn Day. It's all about my boys and the leaves in this leaf pile layout.

I love a good all over word print, and I love a good all over polka dot print, so I decided to use both of those beautiful prints in this layout. A split layout worked really well for these photos since I have 2 almost identical photos, but each on is of a different one of my kids.

I know I've already mentioned how well I think gold works with this collection. I used it again with this layout, but this time added pops of gold with some gold polka dot vellum, a gold polka dot journaling tag, and a little detailing with a gold marker.

Even though the layout is split, I tried to keep it cohesive by creating a line of photos and embellishments starting at the top left corner and working all the way down the layout to the bottom right corner.

Have you had a chance to try Autumn Day yet? I'd love to hear what you think about it!
