There's a new paper company called Photo Play. A Walk Down Memory Lane is carrying both of their new collections (you can find them at AWDML here), and I loved them the second I saw them in the store. Luckily for me, I still have a few photos to scrap from autumn last year, and I was able to start scraping with Photo Play Autumn Day right away!
This collection has a little bit of everything I love about fall. There are not only leaves and pumpkins, but great papers for scrapping Thanksgiving and family too.
I also like that this collection is a bit brighter than typical fall collections. While I love the rich colors of fall, sometimes all the golds, oranges, and browns can get a bit dark. Autumn Day still uses all of these colors, but adds in a pop of blue to keep it modern and lots of cream to keep it bright.
I felt like my Autumn Day layout needed some gold accents, so I got out my We R Memory Keepers Heat Wave foil tool and a template and did some doodling. I really, really love how easy it is to add little foiled details just about anywhere with the Heat Wave Pen.
It's always fun to get the chance to play around with new papers and a new tool!
Thanks for stopping by!
