Science Fair Layout

Sometimes you just have some random photos sitting in your stash. This is one of those random ones of my son at his 5th grade science fair. Thanks to some fantastic 3D stickers from Paper House, I was able to scrap them into a science fair layout.

I love Paper House's 3D stickers, and sometimes just browse through them to see what inspires me. I loved the vibrant colors of the Science Fair stickers and ordered them knowing I probably had photos for them somewhere.

There isn't a lot of color in my photo, so I was able to take my color inspiration from the 3D stickers. Great Outdoors is one of my favorite collections, especially for scrapping boys. I checked that first, and sure enough, the colors went wonderfully with the 3D stickers.

I also added a few stickers from the Inspirational Planner Sticker Book (which also happens to be one of my favorite for scrapping, card making, and creating layouts).

Golden Snitch Mug Layout

My friends and family know I'm a big Harry Potter nerd, so it's no surprise that I've received a few fun HP themed gifts in my life. Last year for my birthday, my sister sent me this awesome golden snitch mug, so I just had to create a layout with it.

I absolutely love the Harry Potter collection from Paper House. Recently Paper House added some vinyl stickers to the collection. They're perfect for phone cases, laptops, and travel mugs...but I also wanted to use them on a layout.

Paper House also has a Harry Potter stationary set that I love. I used a piece of the stationary to journal on and one of the note flags as decoration. I finished up with some stickers from the Harry Potter Chibi Planner Stickers book.

First Birthday Layout

I'm not going to lie; we are those people who celebrate our dogs' birthdays. This year our basset hound, Kevin turned one. They always get a hamburger for their birthday. Kevin's self control got the better of him, and I wasn't fast enough to snap a picture of him with his hamburger before he ate it. Here's Kevin's first birthday layout action shot.

Everything I used on this layout comes from Paper House. I started with the idea to use the Birthday Faux Enamel stickers and built my layout around those. The colors in the Colorwashed papers were perfect for my photos and chosen stickers.

I finished up by adding some dimension with some birthday journaling, 3D, and puffy stickers. I love how many of Paper House's stickers coordinate with each other. It makes for endless possibilities when combining embellishments.

Memories Layout

It's December, which means a brand new kit from the Scrapbooking Store. Since it's December, you've probably guessed that this month is a Christmas themed kit. Here's a Disney Memories layout I created with the kit.

As you might be able to tell, this month's kit is doubly themed. It's both Christmas and Disney as it features Simple Stories Say Cheese Christmas. While this layout does happen to use it to scrap photos from Walt Disney World, these papers aren't just Disney themed. At least one side of every sheet of paper is just a bright, fun holiday print. So even if you don't want to use this kit to scrap Disney photos, it's still great for Christmas photos.

Way back in 2016 a friend and I spent a day at the Magic Kingdom close to Christmas. I've slowly been scrapping the photos over the years, but really haven't done that many as I didn't feel like I had the right paper. December's kit from the Scrapbooking Store definitely fixed that problem for me.

These photos are of the very cool gingerbread houses at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian resorts. I highly recommend seeing them if you ever get the chance.
