BMW Layout

I'm back this week with another travel themed layout. Here's my BMW layout.

I plan most of our stops when we travel, but my husband always has a few requests. This stop was one of his requests. BMW Welt (World) is a great place to stop if you love cars, motorcycles, or even planes. We visited the main building that houses a large showroom and shop, and then took a guided tour of the BMW museum.

I used Kaisercraft Let's Go collection for these photos. It's a little bit of an older collection, as I purchased it right after we got back from Germany, but am just getting around to using it for the photos now.

I love the blues in this collection and thought the city and road themed papers were perfect for scrapping our trip to BMW Welt.

Halloween Layout

Today I have one last layout to share using the Scrapbooking Store's October Kit. This is a simple Halloween layout.

I truly used every last scrap of paper from October's kit. In fact, for this layout I had to grab a piece of 12" x 12" kraft paper from my stash to use as the base. This is the last layout I made with the kit, and had to get a bit creative. I used leftover journaling tags as frames for my photos. The "BOO" and "Happy Halloween" stickers are part of the Scrapbooking Store October Upgrade that you can add to your kit.

This photo is from Halloween last year. Our basset hound, Kevin, was about 6 months old. We have the best UPS man around, and he is so good to our dogs. He and Kevin are the best of friends, so we just had to dress Kevin up as a UPS delivery guy for Halloween.

And that is the last of 6 layouts from the Scrapbooking Store's October kit. You saw 3 of them here on my blog, and the other 3 can be found on the Scrapbooking store's Facebook page and blog.

Schloss Brauhaus Travel Layout

Recently I ordered a paper pad from Paper House that I've been eyeing for a while. This Schloss Brauhaus travel layout is the first chance I've had to use it.

This fun restaurant and brewery was a short walk from our hotel in Schwangau, Germany. Not only did it have views of Neuschwanstein castle, but they had great beer and really tasty food. In fact, after this meal, I learned how to make apple strudel for myself.

The paper pad I used for this layout is Bee Happy from Paper House. It's a really pretty collection with geometric shapes, pops of gold, and a ton of journaling cards. There is also a sheet of coordinating card stock stickers included in the paper pad.

I added a few travel and Germany themed stickers that I had in my stash for this album for a few finishing touches.

I'm not going to lie, I really miss traveling, but at leas I have all these great photos and memories until I can explore the world again.

Globus Travel Layout

Today I have another layout using the Scrapbooking Store's October Kit. Last week I told you that even though this kit is full of fall themed papers, it's not just for fall photos. Today I'm showing you just what I meant with this Globus Travel Layout.

I love the tiny dot paper in this collection. Mixed with the yellows and oranges, it was a great way to scrap a fun detour to to a very large supermarket we found in Germany. The best was shopping the candy section for the kids!

Since most of the embellishments are fall themed, I had to get a bit creative and also do a bit of stash diving. The alphabets are from a previous Scrapbooking Store kit. I created a journaling tag by layering a bit of white card stock over a more fall themed photo on a plaid tag that I liked. A plaid border sticker and a heart sticker from the kit helped add a little bit to the overall look of the layout.

It may have been spring when we visited, but the papers from Hello Fall were perfect for this travel layout.

Picking Pumpkins Layout

It's October, which means there's a brand new kit out from the Scrapbooking Store. I have already used up every little bit of the kit and created 6 layouts. I'll be sharing 3 of them here over the next weeks. Up first is this Picking Pumpkins Layout.

This month's kit features paper and card stock stickers from Echo Park's Hello Fall. The embellishment upgrade features dimensional sticker embellishments from Jolee's Boutique.

October's kit is the quintessential fall kit full of lovely oranges, yellows, and browns with pops of gray and red. It's perfect for those autumn leaf, pumpkin, and apple photos.

While I used this kit for some fall pumpkin photos, it's also great for other scrapping. Stay tuned over the next few weeks to see how I used this kit for travel photos and Halloween photos.
