The first stamp set in the line up is Believe in You:
I wanted to showcase a few things with this card. First up is the beautiful ribbon. It comes in so many colors you're bound to fall in love with it. There's no trick to creating these flowers, I just pleated a few times, added a stitch to hold it in place, and then repeated the process until it was the size I wanted. I also had to display MFP's great charms. Instead of tying these charms on, I used some super strong liquid glue and adhered them to the underside of the center flower. To create the background of the card, I used a technique called emboss resist. I stamped the images from "Believe in You" in brown pigment ink, added some clear embossing powder, heat embossed, and then sponged on some yellow and pink ink.
I posted this card on my blog last week. Just a little sneak peak using Believe in You. If you want to see more of the details on this card click here to go to last week's sneak peak post.
Now it's time to join in the fun. Head on over to the other designers' blogs to see what great projects they've created, and don't forget to stop back tomorrow for an all new release and chance to win.
